Porsgrunn Bamble Borgestad Boligbyggelag (PBBL) is one of Norway’s leading housing associations and property developers, offering its 17,000+ members access to attractive residential projects throughout the Telemark region. Today, PBBL manages over 6,800 homes across more than 300 housing cooperatives in 11 municipalities.
In November 2021, PBBL partnered with Visuado to implement photorealistic 3D virtual tours for its Osebakken Park development in Porsgrunn. The goal? To offer a more engaging and effective digital buying experience—and boost sales.
At that point, Osebakken Park had launched two phases earlier in 2021, comprising a total of 47 apartments. However, only 16 units had been sold, with sales progressing at an average of 1.6 apartments per month. As a forward-thinking developer, PBBL wanted to break the slow sales trend using Visuado’s interactive 3D technology to make the buying process faster, easier, and more enjoyable.
A Smarter Sales Tool
Visuado quickly produced high-quality, interactive 3D tours for 30 of the apartments. Built directly from the architectural BIM models, each apartment was recreated with accurate floor plans, real-world orientation, and exterior views—allowing buyers to explore both interiors and views from every window. The tours were fully integrated into the Osebakken Park website and officially launched in early February 2022.
Measurable Impact
Within just a few months of going live, the results spoke for themselves. Between February and May 2022, 14 of the remaining 30 apartments were sold, increasing the sales rate to 2.4 apartments per month—a 50% increase compared to the period before launching Visuado.
